Who we are

Ruri Gallery is an independent curatorial platform for contemporary painting and graphic art. This policy explains what information we collect through rurigallery.com, why we collect it, and how you can control it. For any question, contact us at hello@rurigallery.com.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, through two channels on this site:

• Newsletter signup — when you subscribe, your email address is collected and stored by our newsletter provider, Beehiiv, so we can send you the newsletter.
• Open call submissions — when you apply to an open call, the information you submit (such as name, email, portfolio or website links, social media handle, artwork images, and your message) is processed through our form provider, Web3Forms, and delivered to our inbox.

We do not use any analytics or tracking cookies on this site.

Why we collect it

• To send you the Ruri Gallery newsletter, if you've subscribed.
• To review open call submissions and respond to general enquiries.

Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to run this site. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf:

• Beehiiv — newsletter hosting and delivery.
• Web3Forms — processes and delivers open call submissions.
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery for this website.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone outside of these service providers.

How long we keep it

Newsletter email addresses are kept for as long as you remain subscribed. Open call submissions are kept for as long as needed to review your application, and as a record of our open call process — including, for selected artists, the production of our exhibition catalog and your profile on this site.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@rurigallery.com — we'll respond as soon as we can.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform grows. Significant changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
